Text Box:   A few months ago yours truly wrote about the Mmrantie Kuo of Bolingbrook, outlining our vision and objectives and what  we stand for as an association.  However if you missed that article, do not despair, I got news for ya!!Mmrantie Kuo can be accessed on line ! WWW.MMRANTIEKUO.ORG.
When this association was formed , some people in our community thought we were not going to survive. They felt that the enthusiasm that we had in the beginning was going to die and so will the association. Weak minds and weak hearts, Sorry !! The good news is that we continue to grow in strength and in stature.
The internet has become the fastest medium to disseminate information around the world. Mmrantie kuo has joined this route to inform the society of our aims and objectives.  Take a trip to the north or south end of the world and we will be with you as long as you have means to get online. Dear reader, take a tour of our site and read about us, our constitution, benefits and others.
Last year the association’s end of year party was successful partly due to the goodwill the association enjoys  from the society as a whole and the members in particular. Our recognition of people in our society including, the Mayor of the Village and our donation to the kids of Oak View Elementary school  demonstrates our love, respect and commitment to the healthy  growth and development of kids  in our schools as well as unity and oneness in  our society.
The other day I received one of those early morning phone calls from Ghana that sometimes shakes the “butterflies” in your stomach.  Fortunately the caller had good news for me, he had logged onto our website and was able to access some pictures from our party including our awards and donations as well as information on  the association. Wow !!  That is the power of the internet. Mmrantie Kuo has news for you.

Text Box:  In the last edition of this paper the editorial piece was enough to make me wonder why Ghanaians as smart and intelligent as we are have not been able to create any form of competition in terms of entrepreneurship to serve as models for the young ones to emulate. Is the Ghana National council alive ???  I guess the Mmrantie Kuo is the only non- profit  association in Chicago that is not formed on ethnic lines.  We may be the association that will break the lines if ethnicity and demonstrate to the whole world that we care about people and not race or tribe. We demonstrated our love for the victims of the Tsunami disaster by contributing to the relief agencies. We are an association that truly care. These activities are posted on our website and it is always  refreshing for me to know that someone out there  recognizes our efforts and know we care. In designing our website the association thought about the community in a way that this site could serve the interest of not only the members but also the society at large. There is a calendar  page on our site that can be used  to promote and inform  people who visit the site of pending events. Any event taking place in any month can be accessed and viewed on the calendar including directions to the event if necessary.
Yours truly has the newsletter page that informs entertain and educate  readers on issues affecting our social lives. Meet me there and lets talk issues!I had a dream that one day Mmrantie Kuo will raise above all else and be known not only in Bolingbrook but through out the world.
